Community Facilities Policies

With Maidenhead’s population about to considerably increase, we will need to understand how this will affect our schools and health, community and leisure facilities.

You will map the existing community infrastructure and assets, and understand their current status and longer term plans such as expansion or changes.

  • identify existing local needs and provision
  • identify any shortfalls in provision/need for investment
  • identify sites/opportunities for additional community facilities
  • identify land that may need to be safeguarded for the expansion of any school, health or community facilities

The Council Officers  will provide information and contacts which should include identifying local needs and provision,  any shortfalls in the provision and the need for investment, sites/opportunities for additional community facilities,  and land that may need to be safeguarded for the expansion of any school, health or community facilities.
